As a part of the Edible Grimsby project, Our Big Picture hosted an exciting collaborative bunting designing activity with textile artist Jo Smith at Centre 4 on Thursday 1st September. Edible Grimsby is a project focused on growing food in the community. To create our large collaborative bunting, we asked participants to create a design featuring their favourite fruits and vegetables!
The Edible Grimsby event was held at St James Square in Grimsby town centre on 1st October 2022. It was a free celebration of art and food. The food grown by the community was prepared and cooked for the community feast at this event, and the brilliant bunting the community has designed through our creative and fun workshops were on display for everyone to see.
