As a part of the Edible Grimsby project, we hosted an exciting collaborative bunting designing activity with textile artist Jo Smith at Centre 4 on Thursday 1st September. Edible Grimsby is a project focused on growing food in the community, so for our big collaborative bunting, we’ve asked participants to create a design featuring their favourite fruits and vegetables! The Edible Grimsby event will be held at St James Square in Grimsby town centre on 1st October 2022 and will be a free celebration of art and food. The food that has been grown by the community will be prepared and cooked for a community feast at this event, and the brilliant bunting the community has designed through these workshops will be on display for everyone to see.
