Our Heritage Story!
18th to 22nd April 2025 – Finally, building works start!
Back in May 2022, after a year of research, feasibility and fundraising, we were able to purchase the 18th Century (1700) grade 2 listed shops/cottages at no.17 to no.21 Bethlehem Street, Grimsby, with a vision to create NE Lincolnshire’s first Arts & Heritage Hub for our communities.
It then took us to the end of 2024 to gain planning permissions, raise funds and start the investigation works. Now, three years to the month, the accessibility, renovation and conservation work has started. The work is being overseen by the fabulous Mother Architects, and the hard graft is by the Embley Builders Ltd Crew.
The site renovations are moving fast, so we will keep you up-to-date on the progress weekly!
