Indeed, we work mostly with emerging artists including children, young people, their families, minority groups and under-served communities.

We love working with emerging artists who come to us from formal art education and non-traditional self-taught routes.

In an area historically marked by isolation and limited cultural resources, we are committed to breaking down barriers and enhancing the lives of those in our community.

We offer a range of spaces to artists, performers and communities. These are available both short-term and long-term and can be employed for anything from a meeting or a presentation, to a practice or lab space and an artist’s studio.

Whatever you need our creative space for, you know you’ll receive the support of the entire Our Big Picture team and our resources.

We create opportunities for the wider cultural sector, from creatives to historians. We are developing our social engagement practice and social prescribing opportunities too.
